A drawing from the kitchen cum living room.
(It feels as if I’ve done just about everything in this little room now, besides shit, piss and fuck. As well as being our kitchen cum living room, it is also an office!)

Looking out on a normally busy road, now empty. Maybe it is night time. And it is still cold at night. And the way the bare tree shakes makes you shiver. Naked in the wind.
Welcome to my place!

I Would have like to play live for you. Or to jam with friends.
In lieu of this, in lockdown, I am learning to love myself. & my student model guitar.
Two pickups, volume and tone.
It’s fun to cut the tone off.
Make a tremolo sound with your pinky on the volume knob.
Wearing the strings in. Re- Acquainting myself with it.
At the end I start to waffle on, something about dating myself.
It sounds so sad!

This music was inspired by the playing of Loren Connors. Pat O’Brien. Jimi Hendrix ..

Improvised “one take" electric guitar. & bass — interrupted towards the end by a phone call that fucked me up. Emotionally speaking. Maybe that’s what the recording needed. Sad ending!
