recorded live from locked down Naarm, with as much life as one could muster, for 4ZZZ community radio show “Underground Australiana”. Thank you Matt K. for inviting me to play on the show!

I woke up on Wednesday morning to the ground shaking, windows rattling, trembling Melbourne tremor zone. The bugs had landed! Either I was dreaming or my Tuesday night date flick had come to life and the metaphorical monsters of Paul Verhoeven’s STARSHIP TROOPERS were here to rip shit up.

If you were driving a car at the time, chances are you didn’t even feel it.

Someone later postulated that the war with China had already begun,
that the tremors were the aftershocks of some military exercise gone wrong.

Dan “Psycho” Andrews was scrawled outside the local Palace cinema..

The city was in meltdown! Riot cops, angry mobs
Tradies raving the sundown on Westgate bridge.
